This piece began in Adobe Illustrator, where the typography was carefully arranged so it could later be revealed through a peeling process. The design was projected onto canvas, filled with gold paint, and masked with tape before layers of modeling paste were applied by hand to create texture. The tape was removed prior to drying to expose the lettering, then after several days, the surface was spray painted white and finished with a protective coat, revealing the final composition.
